Privacy Policy
Information on the processing of personal data in the Liketeacher service (Articles 13 and 14 GDPR).
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is IMETROLL – Laboratory of Technology sp. z o.o., ul. Jana Husa 18B/107, 03-153 Warszawa, Poland, KRS 0000745333, NIP 5242871675, REGON 381074397. For all matters concerning personal data, write to office@imetroll.com.
2. Purposes and legal bases
- creating and maintaining the Account, providing the Service – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – contract,
- handling payments, issuing invoices and tax obligations – Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – legal obligation,
- security of the Service, establishing and defending claims, statistics – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest,
- strictly necessary cookies and browser storage needed for the Service to work properly – Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
3. Location
The map search may use your location only after consent is given in the browser. The location is used solely to show Teachers within the selected radius. You can withdraw consent to sharing your location at any time in your browser or device settings.
4. Recipients of data
Hosting and e-mail providers, the payment operator (Stripe), accounting service providers and the Polish National e-Invoicing System (KSeF), video and communication service providers, and Teachers/Parents to the extent necessary to carry out lessons. We provide the current list of entities processing data on our behalf on request sent to the e-mail address given in section 1. If data are transferred outside the European Economic Area, this is done on the basis of a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
5. Retention period
For as long as you have an Account and then until the limitation periods for claims expire; billing data – for the period required by tax law.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, to object, and to withdraw consent at any time. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO, Poland).
7. Data of minors
The rules for the use of the Service by minors, including the required consent of a Parent (legal guardian), are set out in the Terms of Service. If the processing of data of a person under 16 is based on consent, it must be given or approved by a Parent (Art. 8 GDPR).
8. Cookies
We use cookies and browser storage only so that the website works properly – e.g. for login, form security and remembering your language and the “Private / Company” choice. We do not use analytics, marketing or tracking cookies. Accepting cookies is necessary for the website to function properly. You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings, but the Service may then not work properly. Details: Cookie Policy.
